Our story
Contestnco is a digital platform that offers photo/video contests with the aim of federating teams and developing the employer brand.
The company was Founded in Paris, France in 2008 by Xavier Brice - co-founder & CTO of several startups - and Franck Sarfati - CEO & co-founder of Byron Group. Born from their common passion for photography and the need to unite their teams, the two partners joined forces to develop an online platform to promote the employer brand and create employee bonding. They were able to capitalize their knowledge and their vision, thanks to their experience as managers, to rocket Contestnco as the leader of online team building platforms.
After having launched dozens of contests on the French market, Contestnco was noticed in 2014 by Microsoft. It integrates the Microsoft Accelerator program (see video). This experience propuls the company's notoriety and allows it to accelerate on the European market. 5 years later, Contestnco opens offices in Asia, in Hong Kong.
On the road to success
In 2014, Contestnco was selected by Microsoft France to join its startup acceleration program - Batch 5. Our team benefited from intensive tutoring for increased visibility in France and launched our product on the European market.
During the 2015 edition of Tech Days, our CEO, Xavier BRICE, shared our vision of employee engagement. Five years later, and with the COVID-19 crisis, our vision has never been as relevant as it is today.
